Our take on Single Player: Horror
Rather than building horror around a long campaign, this game uses brief, repeatable sessions with timed decisions and medal rankings. Its central disruption is literal: a killer from an in-game FMV title crosses into the sleepover’s reality, turning a fictional threat into the immediate scenario.
What is Single Player: Horror?
Play as Sophie, a university student whose sleepover turns into a locked-house survival scenario.
A killer from the in-game FMV title Psycho Axe Killer enters reality after lightning strikes the house, threatening Sophie and her friends Heather and Alison. Timed decisions determine where to go, which weapons to use, and whether to rescue the other characters. Each session can last up to 25 minutes and can be paused and saved. Across repeated playthroughs, more than four hours of scenes are available to explore. Every completed game awards a medal ranking from bronze through platinum.
