Play it if you…
Good fit- Real-time strategy fans who want territory conquest against an AI opponent
- Players who prefer resource gathering and unit progression during battles
- Strategy players seeking specialized units with scouting, teleportation, artillery, and conversion abilities
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking turn-based planning may bounce off the real-time, dynamic pace of battles
- Players who want a narrow unit roster may find managing 20 unit types too broad
- Players looking for a story-driven campaign may find the territory-conquest structure too limited
Our take on Simple RTS
Players who prefer deliberate, turn-based decision-making may bounce off the opening battles, where resource gathering, territory control, and an AI opponent all operate in real time. The pressure increases further when elevation, unit abilities, and kill-based leveling must be managed simultaneously.
What is Simple RTS?
Simple RTS is a real-time strategy game focused on conquering every territory on a map before the AI opponent does the same.
Players gather resources, manage 20 unit types, and use a mini-map to track the battlefield. Units gain levels through kills, while higher ground provides an accuracy bonus. The game combines dynamic, stressful battles with units such as an invisible bike for scouting, a teleporting tank, area-targeted artillery, and a rocket launcher that converts enemy units to the player’s side. Its presentation draws on Dune 2, while its combat includes elements associated with Z and tower defense.
