Our take on Silverworld
Its defining format is a 560,000-word interactive novel presented entirely through text, with player choices determining the course of a time-travel fantasy story.
What is Silverworld?
Silverworld is a 560,000-word, text-based interactive time-travel fantasy novel with no graphics or sound effects.
A damaged time machine leaves the protagonist stranded in a prehistoric world of jungles, giant creatures, rival civilizations, and the Icons, described as the universe's creators. Choices determine whether the protagonist builds a Stone Age nation, exploits the past, protects it from outside interests, or tries to return home. The story supports male, female, and nonbinary protagonists, as well as straight, gay, bi, or ace identities. Survival approaches include modern technology, diplomacy, threats, violence, deception, alliances, betrayal, and romance. The protagonist can investigate Doctor Sabbatine's history, confront the False Icon, and decide what happens to the Icons.
