We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Puzzle players who enjoy constructing defenses under projectile fire
- Casual gamers seeking more than 100 physics-based levels
- Creative players interested in building custom stages with a level editor
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want direct combat may bounce off the construction-first format, where defense is built before enemy attacks arrive.
- Players who prefer a fixed difficulty curve may hit a wall as the puzzles become increasingly difficult.
- Players seeking an open-ended building game may find the focus on protecting the Royal Family and preserving characters restrictive.
Our take on Siege Saga
The bounce point arrives when a structure must remain standing under different projectile types and environmental disruptions. Players who rely on one reliable wall design may stall once the game introduces heavier weapons, earthquakes, dragons, and progressively harder puzzles.
What is Siege Saga?
Siege Saga is a 2D physics puzzle sandbox about defending the Royal Family from incoming attacks.
Players construct upright barriers from wooden and metal pieces, ropes, balloons, and stone blocks, then test those structures against catapults, ballistas, cannons, mortars, a dragon, and earthquakes. The objective is to preserve as many royal family members as possible while increasing the score. More than 100 puzzles span countryside, desert, icy, and tropical settings, with difficulty rising across the levels. The game includes multiple siege weapon types, stylised artwork, support for 7 languages, dozens of achievements, and a level editor.
