Our take on Siberian Dawn
The layered systems trade immediate accessibility for tactical control. Separate decks, multiple resources, mission objectives, and action-risk management create more decisions, but they also require time to learn before the full mission structure becomes usable.
What is Siberian Dawn?
Siberian Dawn is a solo digital card-based wargame with deckbuilding and crisis-management elements.
Players act as Union Overseers, recruiting and deploying Units, working with Guilds, managing several resources, and completing objectives during individual missions. The game uses separate Resource and Tactics decks, a Fate Helix for resolving actions, and a range of Units and Tactics for tactical decisions. The base game includes 4 interactive tutorials, 4 Training Missions, 3 full V Missions, and 2 Skirmish missions.
Skirmish 0 combines owned content into a larger challenge. The ARK meta section uses earned ARK Points to unlock memories and other elements, while more than 80 Content Pods provide card lore and setting details. Crisis mode adds task sequences that affect progress toward the hostile forces' Leader.

Xenonauts follows a Cold War-era alien-invasion campaign with persistent soldiers and turn-based squad operations; Siberian Dawn instead uses a near-future setting, controlled squad forces, and deck-based action resolution.
