Our take on Shogunaria
Randomized treasures and rewards change each playthrough, while four characters provide different abilities, weaknesses, stories, and endings to pursue.
What is Shogunaria?
Choose one of four characters and explore a world divided into six zones, each containing a dungeon and a boss.
Combat includes monster fighting, character leveling, weapon upgrades, purchasable items, and special moves. Traps and puzzles appear throughout the dungeons, while a Metroidvania-style map opens new routes through skills learned at sacred statues. Each character has distinct abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and a separate story. Treasures and rewards are randomized between playthroughs. Teleporters connect areas, and secret modes include an art gallery, bestiary, and cheat mode. The game also includes 30 monsters, pixel-art visuals, four endings, achievements, and weapon forging.
