Our take on SFD : Rogue TRPG
The pitch emphasizes variety through randomized dungeons and a large pool of gear and enemies, but the core journey remains a descent through 8 floors. Permanent death also makes each attempt a high-stakes run rather than a forgiving campaign.
What is SFD : Rogue TRPG?
SFD combines tactical role-playing with roguelike structure.
Players lead a group of adventurers through the Sigma Finite Dungeon, where randomly generated layouts create a different challenge each time and defeat can permanently end a run. Battles use turn-based tactics and allow hazards including spike traps, poison gas, and explosive barrels to affect encounters. The roster contains 7 adventurers, each with individual abilities and upgrade paths, alongside more than 200 weapons, spells, and items. Over 30 enemy varieties occupy the dungeon's 8 floors, leading to the Lich King Raeleus and the false god NOG. The game presents simple gameplay with old-school difficulty. A free Steam demo provides access to one complete dungeon floor.
