Our take on SENTRY
The campaign connects battles through the survival of one ship, but that focus limits the setting to a continuing defense effort aboard the vessel. Players seeking disconnected missions or a wider variety of environments may find the structure restrictive.
What is SENTRY?
SENTRY is a first-person action-defense shooter about protecting a spaceship from alien forces while choosing an escape route through hostile space.
Alien vessels board the ship and advance through its subsystems toward the Core. Ranged weapons work alongside deployable traps, turrets, and environmental destruction, including venting aliens into space or closing blast doors to delay them. The single-player campaign supports online co-op with a friend. Death brings another crew member out of stasis, while failing to defend a level changes the strategic situation shown in the Ship Overview rather than simply restarting a checkpoint. Route choices, combat performance, equipment discoveries, upgrades, and the condition of the Core shape the continuing campaign.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines cooperative action RPG and tower defense with loot, leveling, pets, and character customization, while SENTRY centers on first-person combat aboard a fleeing spaceship and a campaign affected by defeat.
