Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want permanent character-stat upgrades will hit a wall after death, since stats do not improve permanently.

- Players looking for a climbing puzzle game may prefer a different kind of action game.
Our take on Sentimental K
The clearest sticking point is death: a failed run wipes its rewards and returns the player to the beginning with only a basic weapon. Those looking for permanent stat growth will also find no upgrade track to carry progress between attempts.
What is Sentimental K?
Sentimental K is a 3D action roguelike where players fight enemies and move through randomly generated dungeons.
Weapons, skills, artifacts, bosses, and dungeon layouts vary between runs. Players combine the gear and abilities they find to build synergies and advance toward the end. The game includes 5 weapons, 78 skills, 132 artifacts, and 13 bosses, with boss concepts based on specific emotions. Combat is viewed mainly from above, while the camera adjusts during play. Death removes the rewards collected during the run and sends the player back to the beginning with only a basic weapon. Character stats do not permanently improve, so progress comes from the player's growing familiarity with the game.
How Sentimental K plays
- 01Run-based progression
- Death erases run rewards and restarts the player with a basic weapon; character stats do not carry over as permanent upgrades.
- 02Build combinations
- Weapons, skills, and artifacts can be combined into synergies during a run.
- 03Emotion-themed bosses
- Boss encounters are built around distinct emotions.
- 04Changing dungeon runs
- Dungeon layouts and the available weapons, skills, artifacts, and bosses are randomly generated.
