Our take on Seclusa
Players who want full control of each photographic scene immediately may hit a wall when they reach the locked abilities. Weather and time changes, photo-processing adjustments, and specific animal selection become available only after those abilities are unlocked.
What is Seclusa?
Seclusa combines wildlife photography with an idle game at a remote safari lodge in East Africa.
Players photograph animals for conservation organizations, handle daily assignments and other goals, and earn experience that opens new species, areas, and camera enhancements. Progress provides credits for equipment upgrades, lodge features, and additions to a card set. Photography can be hands-on, or the game can continue in the background while the radio plays and the surrounding wildlife carries on. After abilities are unlocked, players can alter weather and daylight, adjust image processing, and call in a chosen species. The experience also offers viewpoints, African audio environments, an original musical score, and a jigsaw puzzle.
