Our take on Screen Cat
Rather than centering on missions, combat, or a fixed progression path, this casual simulation keeps the cat alongside other desktop activities. Its structure is based on observation, care, customization, and occasional item-gathering trips instead of a conventional campaign.
What is Screen Cat?
Screen Cat places a virtual cat on the desktop as a companion during work, study, or play.
The cat moves around the screen, investigates its surroundings, reacts to the cursor, and sleeps while games are running. Players can choose from 11 cats, feed and pet them, put them to sleep, and play with them. Desktop items such as a scratching post, litter box, ball, and teaser stick provide activities. The purring volume can be adjusted. The cat may also leave the screen on short adventures and return with collectible items and stories. Appearance changes include hats, beds, and additional sounds. Steam Workshop support allows players to create and install mods.
