Our take on Scrappage
The emphasis on build variety and loot softens the central limitation: death sends the run back to the beginning. Progress through permanent upgrades remains, but the immediate journey and its collected setup are lost after a fatal mistake.
What is Scrappage?
Scrappage is a twin-stick roguelite shooter set in a ruined future populated by mutants, zombies, aliens, robots, and other creatures.
Runs move through procedurally generated levels spanning nine themes, with a boss at the end of each level. Defeated enemies can provide loot, body parts, and items used to shape each run with active skills and other upgrades. Scrap can be spent between levels, while collected experience unlocks permanent improvements. Death restarts the journey. The game includes more than 40 enemy types, hundreds of body parts and items, an easier mode with automatic aiming, and local cooperative play, including Remote Play Together.
How Scrappage plays

Scrappage compared to similar games
Scrappage uses twin-stick shooting, procedurally generated levels, body-part abilities, and local cooperative play. Abyssus also presents a roguelite shooting structure, but its description focuses on multiplayer action, hand-crafted levels, tactical play, and weapons modified with ancient technologies.
