Our take on Scramble
Competition between companies defines the experience: resource allocation, provincial development, shifting trade prices, and disruption of rival connections all shape colonization.
What is Scramble?
Scramble is a resource management game about companies competing to colonize the New World.
Players choose a nation, and each nation has advantages that change how the game should be played. Limited resources must be used logically to make progress. New provinces can be colonized to produce needed resources, while buildings can improve provincial efficiency and provide materials for increasing population capacity. Rival companies can be hindered by capturing resources they need or cutting their connections to stop further colonization. The trade system changes resource prices according to scarcity, creating a shifting market. Several strategies are available for managing provinces, acquiring resources, expanding territory, and competing against rival companies.
