Players monitor cameras and hostile feeds, complete several objectives, and then attempt containment, with failure tied to the survival of the whole group.
What is SCP: Retrieval?
SCP: Retrieval is a cooperative action-horror game for groups of as many as five Mobile Task Force operatives.
Every match begins inside a van used as a field headquarters, where players can watch squad members, view surveillance footage, and monitor enemy transmissions. Across hand-built environments, the team handles objectives including item recovery, target destruction, and threat removal. Once those jobs are complete, players must find and secure the SCP present on the map. Certain operations emphasize moving unseen, whereas others develop into open firefights. The anomalies act unpredictably, and the operation ends when the entire team is killed. Completing the mission secures the location and awards the match win. Further retrievals add different obstacles and increasingly dangerous anomalies.
