Our take on Saviorless
Its defining structure is the handoff between three playable characters: exploration and puzzles as Antar, punishing combat as the Savior, and a separate pursuit led by Nento.
What is Saviorless?
Saviorless is a narrative-driven 2D platformer set in the dark fantasy realm of the Smiling Islands.
The journey follows three playable characters with different abilities and challenges. Antar explores ancient ruins, solves puzzles, and avoids danger while seeking the forbidden land. His masked Savior form faces strange enemies and bosses in fast, punishing battles. Nento is a hunter pursuing control and a place in the story. Exploration moves through unusual landscapes, crumbling ruins, and distinct scenarios accompanied by atmospheric music. Players uncover the mystery of the islands, collect pages and other story mementos, and follow a fractured narrative about why Antar cannot reach his destination.
How Saviorless plays

Saviorless compared to similar games
Saviorless combines 2D platforming, exploration, puzzles, and combat across three protagonists, while Jusant focuses on climbing upward through a tall tower, managing stamina, and choosing routes. Sundered: Eldritch Edition is described as a chaotic metroidvania with previous updates and a new content update, whereas Saviorless centers on a fractured narrative and hand-drawn presentation.
