Our take on Sainthood
Rather than centering strategy on combat, territory, or industry, the game makes community service and spiritual practice its main resources. Daily scheduling, relationships, building work, and faith replace conventional battles or expansion as the route toward progression.
What is Sainthood?
Sainthood is a strategy game about serving an island community while developing spiritual practice.
Each day, time is divided between activities that produce Charitable Points or Faith Points. Construction work, resource deliveries, and volunteering at places such as a hospital, school, and orphanage provide Charitable Points, while prayer and convent activities provide Faith Points. Building upgrades change how quickly activities can be completed, and daily provisions can be combined to affect energy, cooking, or winter conditions. Conversations with the island’s custodians reveal their stories and influence relationships. Seasonal changes shape the miniature island, while nighttime brings Shetani spirits that consume Faith. Progress can lead to multiple endings, and up to 25 stained-glass artworks about saints can be unlocked.
