SimulationIs Safety First! worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy physics-based puzzle games and twin-stick controls
- Gamepad users seeking a 69-level campaign structure
- Players who want unusual movement rules, zero-gravity stages, and changing audio
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want forgiving character control may hit a wall because the character is described as fragile.
- Players seeking a single consistent ruleset may bounce off the advanced campaign and its one-foot restriction, or the mode-specific changes to speed and movement.
- Players looking for open-ended progression may find the campaign structure too finite at 69 levels.
- Players who do not use a dual-analog gamepad may not suit the stated control setup.
Our take on Safety First!
The bounce point is the foot-based control system: players must guide a fragile character with both thumb sticks while placing repair liquid. The advanced campaign adds another constraint by keeping one foot grounded, while PEP and DRNK alter speed, movement, lighting, music, and audio.
What is Safety First!?
Safety First!
is a twin-stick physics puzzle game about repairing broken electrical wires with Magical Yellow Repair Liquid. Players control a fragile character’s feet with a dual-analog gamepad and place the liquid where repairs are needed. The game contains 69 levels across three campaigns: 30 classic stages, 32 advanced stages with one foot kept on the ground, and a space campaign with zero gravity. Three modes alter the experience: NRML is the default, PEP increases speed with flashing lights and faster music, and DRNK adds rocking movement, rock music, alternate voice audio, and brown MYRL balls. Physics-driven objects, changing music, voice acting, sound effects, and achievements are also included.
