- Players looking for combat-focused gameplay may find the patient-care and investigation systems too restrained
Our take on S.O.R.S
The bounce point arrives when clinical work gives way to trust decisions between shifts. Players must weigh emails, colleagues, complaints, government targets, and hacker interference rather than simply diagnose patients, making the choice-driven structure central to progress.
What is S.O.R.S?
Play as a newly recruited doctor at a high-tech medical facility where staff are dismissed, patients are dying, and a hacker interferes with equipment.
Scan patients, diagnose diseases, prescribe treatments, and meet government targets during shifts. Between shifts, read emails and communicate with colleagues while deciding whom to trust. These decisions alter progression, the challenges encountered, and the help available. Some levels add equipment disruptions caused by hackers, while conversations with patients can reduce complaints. The near-future setting includes crowded skyscrapers, restricted international travel, and prison ships for criminals. Multiple play-throughs offer six endings, and Endless Mode focuses on saving as many patients as possible. Cheat words can also be used to hack the system.
