Our take on Rurizakura
The page gives substantial attention to the setting, central tragedy, staff, and voice cast, but it does not explain the game's moment-to-moment structure or how the 29-night story is presented in play.
What is Rurizakura?
Set in the Asuka period, Rurizakura follows two half-demons whose lives are bound to opposing forms of sacrifice.
Mikoto became a god after taking the place of a sacred tree and sealing away monsters; an immortality curse has kept him tied to the same land for 800 years. Sakura is a demon-slaying dancer who subdues monsters through sacred dances that consume her remaining life. Their meeting brings together a cursed immortal boy and a dancer nearing death, beginning the story of the final 29 nights they spend together. The game is CANDY VIOLET's debut title, with character designs and artwork by Fumotoki Momogi, a script by Yukihito, music by Shinjin Mizuki, and a theme song performed by AiRI.
