Our take on Run For Your Life
The defining constraint is limited melee combat: survival depends on turning movable objects, traps, barricades, and thrown items into alternatives to direct fighting.
What is Run For Your Life?
Run For Your Life is a solo, top-down cartoon-horror survival roguelite.
Combat begins with a baseball bat and focuses on melee weapons, while environmental objects provide other ways to deal with enemies. Players can move or destroy objects, repair them through upgrades, set traps, lure groups, and block rooms with barricades. Smaller items can also be used as improvised weapons and thrown as projectiles. Each level begins with a choice of weapon, ability, or passive upgrade. The main objective is to survive until the teleporter beam charges while collecting available resources. The game currently starts with a small level selection, while additional worlds and mechanics are described as planned.
