Our take on Run Build Pew!
Rather than giving players a fixed combat craft, the game makes ship construction part of each run. Scrap collection and random factory output determine the available build, while hiding and selecting battles replace a straightforward march through preset encounters.
What is Run Build Pew!?
Run Build Pew!
is a top-down action roguelite shooter about escaping bounty hunters while assembling a ship during each run. Drones gather scraps, which a ship factory turns into random parts; one part is selected and attached to the ship. The resulting build can combine unusual weapons and devices, with different part combinations creating synergies. Runs involve moving through the map, hiding, maneuvering, destroying outposts, and fighting waves of enemy ships. Encounters and available parts are randomized, so each attempt presents different equipment and battles. The game also asks players to choose which fights to take while trying to survive long enough to become the hunter. Sessions are structured around 20–30 minutes of action.
