Our take on Routine Racers
The defining format is side-scrolling 3D racing through daily routines, from supermarket trips to fire emergencies, rather than conventional track-based racing.
What is Routine Racers?
Routine Racers is a 3D platforming racer built around ordinary-life situations, from leaving the workplace to shopping, social drinking, firefighting, and hunting criminals.
The game offers 10 structured stages plus an unlimited endurance mode. Players can evade hazards, leap, roll, slow down, construct objects, and combine maneuvers to gain momentum and score bonuses. Track hazards shift on each attempt, with hidden routes and unexpected race variations. Foes range from comic waste and office workers to machinery and bosses. Its presentation uses low-polygon visuals, while 42 Steam Achievements and jokes about games and players’ mothers add extra touches. The challenge is intentionally severe and unforgiving.
