Our take on Rollers of the Realm
This is a genre departure because it replaces standard RPG movement and combat with pinball play. Characters become playable balls, while flippers, nudging, physics puzzles, and board layouts carry the action normally handled by exploration and combat systems.
What is Rollers of the Realm?
Rollers of the Realm turns pinball into a fantasy adventure, with a medieval party represented by balls that vary in size, weight, attributes, gear, and special skills.
Flippers and table-shaking controls drive movement through puzzle sections and battles involving common enemies, elite opponents, and bosses. Its voiced campaign offers over 30 stages, including scenarios that can be played again. As party members advance, their attributes and abilities improve; battles may award gold, score multipliers, mana multipliers, power-ups, and treasure. The roster has 10 switchable characters. Arena Mode adds five boards with Steam Leaderboard support, while Casual and Challenging settings can be changed during a run.
