- Players seeking a pixel-art game with platforming movement and varied weapons
Skip it if you…

- Players looking for stealth, survival crafting, or first-person shooting should consider a different type of game
Our take on Rogue Explorer
The run-based structure gives up a continuous, fixed world in favor of repeatable dungeon exploration. Daily stages offer temporary layout stability, while Deep Search trades predictability for changing arrangements and a harder challenge.
What is Rogue Explorer?
Rogue Explorer is a pixel-art action roguelike focused on dungeon exploration, movement, and combat.
Players search randomly generated stages using jumps, wall jumps, and rolls while fighting enemies and collecting loot. Daily stages keep the same layout for one day, allowing repeated exploration of a familiar arrangement. Deep Search stages generate a new layout for every attempt and provide a harder challenge. Treasure chests contain weapons such as swords, spears, and staffs. Materials earned from completed stages can improve equipment, while combining items creates stronger gear. The playable character’s appearance changes with equipped items, and additional color options can alter the look further.
