Persistent upgrades give repeated sessions a progression layer, but the endless arcade structure leaves little room for a traditional campaign arc. The seven modes add variety while keeping combat, hazards, resources, and ship improvement central.
What is Rocket!?
Pilot a ship with limited starting weapons through battles against asteroids and enemy ships.
Destroyed targets provide Iron, Gold, Platinum, and Obsidian, which can be spent on weapons and ship enhancements. Progress persists between sessions, allowing the ship to become stronger over time. The seven modes vary the structure: Classic offers retro endless play, Arcade places randomized upgrades in the environment, and Chaos Agent pits the ship against an endless enemy horde.
Cadet and Galactic Hero add hazards, navigation, and tougher enemies. Survive limits rockets and offers a new upgrade after each level, while Void requires finding a portal to advance. The game also includes an exploration sandbox, local and online cooperative or versus modes, achievements, leaderboards, an alternate visual mode, and a music mode.
