Our take on Road Z : The Last Drive
Instead of using an open-world map, the game places its driving progression in a closed environment divided by checkpoints. Vehicle failure and missed checkpoints create repeated attempts, while zombie encounters provide hardware for car development.
What is Road Z : The Last Drive?
Drive across the United States to deliver a vaccine to a laboratory in Washington.
The game takes place in a closed environment rather than an open world, with progress divided into checkpoints. When the vehicle runs out of fuel or is damaged beyond use, an updates menu becomes available before restarting from the most recent checkpoint. Failing to reach the next checkpoint means repeating that section. Hardware collected by hitting zombies is used for car upgrades, including improvements to the engine, fuel tank, and armor, along with additions and upgrades for nitro, a turret, and a flamethrower. The game includes 5 vehicles, 60 car upgrade levels, a full car damage system, and first- or third-person views.
How Road Z : The Last Drive plays
