Our take on RIVE
Enemy hacking defines the experience: captured turrets, drones and smashbots can fight on the spider tank's side, while a hacked enemy can also provide a ride through a level.
What is RIVE?
RIVE combines 360-degree shooting and platforming across battles on land, underwater, in zero gravity and aboard a moving train.
Players control a spider tank that can gather hacks and use them to control enemy gun turrets, nurse drones and smashbots. The tank's special attacks, armor and loot magnet can be upgraded. The story follows space scavenger Roughshot after he becomes trapped on a mysterious starship and forms an unexpected alliance. The campaign lasts 6+ hours and includes voiced dialogue. Speedrun and Single-Credit modes provide additional ways to play. Online leaderboards, daily Challenges and infinite Battle Arenas extend the game beyond the campaign.
