Our take on Ridge Racer™ Unbounded
Its defining mechanic is destructive urban racing: vehicles can break through obstacles and carve paths through Shatter Bay’s streets.
What is Ridge Racer™ Unbounded?
Ridge Racer Unbounded is an arcade racer set in Shatter Bay, a city where events run through districts including an industrial area, an oil-processing facility, a harbor, and a tall-building work site.
Its lineup replaces conventional race cars with numerous street vehicles, among them the Ridge Racer Angel and Devil. Races emphasize environmental destruction: cars smash through barriers and other obstructions, opening routes across the surroundings. Kara Shindo heads the Unbounded crew, whose members challenge competing drivers throughout the city’s roads and narrow lanes. Progression centers on demonstrating driving ability, gaining recognition, and claiming additional territory for the gang.
