Ballex²: The Hanging Gardens is a physics-based rolling game with 40 official levels: 20 main stages and 20 side levels.
Players control nine types of spheres, including wood, stone, paper, balloon, sponge, and sticky balls, each with different physical properties used to activate mechanisms and negotiate obstacles. There is no jump button; movement depends on acceleration, turning, gravity, and inertia. Two control modes are available: a four-directional view with camera rotation and a top-down view, or free third-person movement with mouse-controlled camera and optional 45-degree camera locking. A free Level Editor DLC supports custom maps using built-in assets or imported models, textures, and audio, plus JavaScript scripting for mechanisms. Created levels can be published through Steam Workshop.
