Our take on Reverie - A Heroes Tale
The store presentation foregrounds flexible party building and character growth, while the central progression remains a conventional quest to gather strength, explore dungeons, and defeat one main antagonist. The customization is concentrated in classes, abilities, and attribute allocation rather than a broader description of branching story structure.
What is Reverie - A Heroes Tale?
Reverie - A Heroes Tale is a retro, turn-based RPG about four heroes opposing the Dreaming King and the curse spreading across Asphal.
Players create a party by choosing from 17 classes, then gather allies, explore dungeons, enter the dreams of cursed people, and collect armor, weapons, treasures, and Shards. Shards grant additional skills and abilities, expanding each character's possible build. Leveling uses freely assigned points for maximum Health, Mana, damage, or combat speed rather than a fixed progression. The story follows the Warriors of the Divine as they seek the strength needed to defeat the Dreaming King and end the curse.
