What is Resist?
Resist is a single-player action RPG for VR set in the city of Concord under authoritarian rule.
Players take the role of Sam Finch, a new member of the Resistance, and move through the open city by swinging between buildings and climbing. The campaign follows her effort to free the city from Astra Corporation. Side quests include raiding data facilities, taking surveillance drones, and fighting groups of enemies. Puzzle tasks involve rewiring propaganda billboards to raise reputation.
A skill tree lets players improve weapons and abilities or unlock options such as grapple boost, scan pulse, and super jump. The Steam version includes changes to graphics and gameplay for PC, with updated lighting, textures, models, and effects. Online leaderboards track results in Crypto’s skill challenges.
