Our take on Remorse: The List
Rather than guiding the investigation through a fixed sequence, the game lets exploration determine when the list’s secrets are uncovered. Its central structure pairs town-wide searching with inventory pressure, making the act of choosing where to look part of the horror experience.
What is Remorse: The List?
Remorse: The List is a survival horror game set in Hidegpuszta, a small Hungarian town filled with streets, parks, and abandoned buildings.
Exploration reveals what is happening there, while a mysterious list provides the main clue. The game uses an open structure, allowing secrets to be investigated in different orders. Survival depends on managing a restricted inventory containing weapons, first-aid kits, ammunition, and puzzle items, with some objects occupying one slot and others occupying two. Combat includes both firearms and melee weapons. The story unfolds through exploration and additional materials such as videotapes and voice recordings. The game also supports ultrawide monitors.
