REM: The Dreamer is a single-player action shooter set in the depths of dreams.
It follows Harvey, an ordinary man who challenges gods for the sake of his family. Players guide him through distinct dreams, with each one offering its own story and style. The journey includes encounters with gods such as Morpheus and Phobetor, who can manipulate dreams and nightmares. New skills are learned within each dream and used to overcome enemies and bosses. Progress centers on reaching the final layer of the dream while facing legendary foes through individual boss battles.
