Red Alliance is a single-player action thriller with horror elements, set in a 21st-century Eastern European country controlled by an oppressive regime.
The protagonist and an ally try to reach the Red Alliance rebellion and stop Dr. Grey, a scientist pursuing mind control through illegal research. The campaign follows nine chapters, each set in a different location, including autumn streets, snowy mountains, underground research complexes, and a secret laboratory. Gameplay uses a traditional first-person shooter format, with optional stealth sections that let players choose different approaches. Random events can also occur during the journey and may provide rewards. A separate arcade mode is included alongside the main campaign.
