What is Reboot?
Reboot is a single-line visual novel set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2050, nearly a decade after an AI crisis.
Bates and two companions travel toward Ocean City, their last hope, while supplies run short and zombies threaten their progress. A band of bandits creates another danger. The story follows the group as they use their surroundings to gain an advantage and pursue the future they expect. This opening Sea Mist chapter is estimated to take 4–5 hours and includes 300+ storyboards, along with selected sound effects and music. The game is currently available only in Simplified Chinese.
