Our take on RealityMinds
The game’s progression depends on combining skills to earn SP for new abilities, so combat is tied to that development loop. Its 140-plus maps also make the experience broader in scope than a short, tightly contained story.
What is RealityMinds?
RealityMinds follows Astrake, a young man training to become a soldier in the royal capital.
After an encounter in the forest leaves him unconscious, he wakes to find he has changed bodies with the mysterious girl who attacked him. The RPG features original characters, enemies, maps, and event illustrations, with 61 enemies and over 140 maps. Combat includes Chain Skills, triggered by combining specific skills. Performing Chain Skills earns SP, which can be used to learn skills through a skill tree. Optional sub-events are included, and a hint display indicates when they can occur. Progress also releases a scenario collection in English and Japanese, illustration-making materials shown in five stages, and original illustrations previously posted on social media.
