Our take on Re-Volt
Rather than using full-size cars on conventional roads, this racing game turns public and domestic spaces into oversized circuits. Curbs, toys, and other ordinary objects become major route features, making scale and environmental navigation central to its track structure.
What is Re-Volt?
Re-Volt is an arcade racing game featuring 28 remote-control cars and 13 tracks divided among four Cups.
The courses place miniature vehicles in oversized everyday settings, including museums, supermarkets, and areas resembling neighborhoods. Curbs become large barriers, toys act as obstacles, and the cars can travel across, through, or over parts of the environment. The game’s fictional premise follows Toy-Volt radio-controlled cars that escape into the real world and cause chaos. The Steam edition includes artwork, a manual, a quick reference card, and a soundtrack as digital extras for the PC/Dreamcast version.
