Our take on Powerslide
Its focus on terrain-driven off-road racing gives up supported multiplayer: the game includes multiplayer modes and content, but they are not supported. Progression also centers on a defined set of 10 tracks rather than an open-ended course collection.
What is Powerslide?
Powerslide is an off-road racing game set after an environmental disaster that has killed 98% of the population.
Races cross ruined cities, desert areas, alpine routes, icy roads, mudslides, and canyons. The game includes 10 off- and on-road tracks, with championships that unlock additional tracks, vehicles, and racers. Computer-controlled opponents simulate aggressive driving and competitive behavior. Its physics model uses six degrees of freedom, allowing vehicles to navigate obstacles across varied terrain. The setting follows feral survivors competing in an outlawed racing event while corporate enclaves remain underground. Multiplayer modes and content are included, but they are not supported.

- The physics system gives vehicles six degrees of freedom for navigating obstacles.
Powerslide compared to similar games
Powerslide uses post-apocalyptic off-road courses, championship unlocks, six-degree physics, and aggressive computer drivers. GRIP: Combat Racing combines wheeled and airborne vehicles with heavy weapons, while Barro centers on small cars, arcade races, time trials, and split-screen multiplayer. Redout: Enhanced Edition focuses on anti-gravity racing rather than Powerslide's off-road vehicles and terrain.
