What is Ravenbound?
Ravenbound is an open-world action roguelite set on the island of Ávalt, a fantasy world influenced by Scandinavian folklore.
Players serve as vessels for an ancient Raven and fight creatures including Trolls, Hulders, and Draugr. Each vessel is permanently lost in battle, while the strength carried to the Raven remains for later attempts. Exploration takes place on foot or in Raven form, with progression based on cards and unlocks found during each lifetime. Some cards are selected, while others appear by chance. Rewards also increase the Betrayer’s hatred, strengthening her minions. Combat uses weapons, armor, magical relics, and skill-based fighting against increasingly difficult enemies.
