Combat departs from a basic attack-and-dodge structure by putting sword abilities, barrier effects, and more than 20 actions into the same fighting system. Wide-area attacks can also gather or repeatedly damage enemies, making attack combinations central to encounters.
What is Rasetsu Fumaden?
Set in an Edo-period world inhabited by demons, humans, and gods, this action RPG follows Rasetsu Raki, a demon princess with sealing powers.
Combat combines ordinary attacks, sword techniques, and barrier techniques. Raki has more than 20 actions, including rapid movement, enemy knockback, and ranged attacks. Standard strikes can form four-hit sequences. Sword techniques include attacks that create wind whirlpools, raise rock walls, strengthen Raki when surrounded, and spread flames across an area. Barrier techniques include a large explosion, a tornado that draws enemies together, and lightning that repeatedly damages targets within its range. These actions can be combined to create different combat approaches.
