Our take on Rail Cargo Simulator
The likely bounce point is the transition from arranging trains under normal conditions to handling urgent orders, wagon damage, track defects, and reduced visibility. Players who prefer uninterrupted shunting may find these events interrupt the central yard-planning routine.
What is Rail Cargo Simulator?
Manage freight movements in a marshalling yard by assigning available shunting locomotives and using hump yards to arrange trains for specified tasks.
Career mode begins at a small yard and progresses to larger yards as levels are completed. A level is solved when its trains are arranged correctly. Events can interrupt operations, including urgent orders, wagon axle or fire damage, track defects, and weather that changes visibility and workflow. The game includes 100 levels, rising difficulty, day and night shifts, weather effects, and 3D scenery. After all tasks in a level are completed, missions can be selected freely. Controls use a keyboard and mouse.
