Our take on RAID: World War II
The description gives considerable space to the Special Edition’s extra items, including digital artwork and wallpapers, while the main game is a class-based cooperative shooter organized around Raids and Operations.
What is RAID: World War II?
RAID: World War II is a cooperative shooter for four players set in Europe during World War II.
Players take the roles of four prisoners of war freed by a British intelligence operative, with missions aimed at fighting the Nazi forces and collecting gold. Four classes offer distinct combat roles: Recon, Assault, Insurgent, and Demolitions. Characters have customizable uniforms, and each class can use Warcries that strengthen the player and allies. Missions take place at locations across Europe, while secret documents unlock Outlaw Raids focused on collecting gold.
Operations connect several Raids into extended missions with additional storylines and objectives. Collectible Challenge Cards can alter mission conditions, including restrictions to pistols or a health boost. The Special Edition adds items such as weapons, outfits, a comic book, soundtrack, art book, and wallpapers.
