Our take on Quiet as a Stone
Its defining structure is impermanent: each visit is a small diorama to arrange and photograph before moving on to another discovery.
What is Quiet as a Stone?
Quiet as a Stone is a slow-paced digital toy for exploring and shaping small procedural dioramas.
Slash through grass to uncover artifacts, mine stones for gems, and use those gems to place trees, ruins, and foliage. Scenes can be arranged without grids or fixed building rules, then photographed before the setting changes and the visit ends. The environment shifts through daylight, night, weather, fog, rain, and firelight, with audio that responds to the scene. Its presentation centers on autumnal colors, weathered stone, moss, and remnants of an ancient world. A photo mode includes aperture, exposure, color grading, and filter controls.
