Our take on Quest Hunter
The broad mix of dialogue choices, puzzles, camp construction, crafting, treasure hunting, and combat leaves less room for a narrowly focused action loop. Variable dungeon routes also trade fixed exploration paths for changing conditions between attempts.
What is Quest Hunter?
Quest Hunter is an isometric, story-driven action RPG set in a dark world where fire is valuable and a shovel aids exploration.
Dialogue choices influence the storyline, while quests include puzzles, treasure hunting, and uncovering enemy plans. Characters gain levels, attributes, and skills, and equipment can be found, crafted, and upgraded. Weapons, armor, potions, and bombs support different approaches to combat. Randomly generated dungeons change the available path through each dungeon. Players can build and defend a camp, recruit friends and helpers, defeat monsters and bosses, and search for hidden stashes. The game supports solo play, couch co-op, and online parties of up to four players, with cross-play available in cooperative mode.
