Our take on Queen Slayer
Its defining structure is a compact run in which every battle points toward one of eight corrupted queens, with no grinding between the boss encounters.
What is Queen Slayer?
Queen Slayer is a turn-based roguelike RPG built around a short sequence of boss battles.
A party of four is assembled from 15 mercenaries, with different combinations shaping each run's strategy. The game contains eight corrupted queens, each presenting a distinct style and visual identity influenced by poison, ice, blood, or iron. Progression includes choices that alter the party's development and combat approach. There is no grinding between encounters: each battle leads toward another queen. A complete playthrough takes 2–3 hours, and all achievements connected to defeating the eight queens can be earned in one session. Repeated runs use different mercenary combinations and strategic decisions.
