What is Putrefaction?
Putrefaction is a first-person shooter with horror elements, numerous enemies, varied enemy behaviors, and a broad arsenal.
Weapons range from pistols and rifles to unusual mystical firearms. Large boss encounters form part of the action. Health does not regenerate automatically, so players search for medical packs during play. The game has two modes: campaign and survival. In the campaign, an elite-force operative investigates an abandoned mountain base, searches for an underground facility, and investigates the source of a disease that causes severe bodily transformations. Putrefaction draws heavily on older shooters associated with 3D Realms and id Software, combining fast combat with large enemy groups and weapon variety.
