Our take on Pursuer
The clearest stopping point is permadeath: a death means starting again. Players unwilling to repeat a run after a setback may bounce off before reaching the story’s several endings.
What is Pursuer?
Pursuer is a psychological horror game about finding an escaped criminal with more than 20 victims.
Search a large open area containing a hospital, laundry, church, and military hostel. Collect evidence and photos to advance the investigation and reveal the criminal’s location. Hazards include toxic fumes, minefields, patients, and evil spirits. Use glowsticks to escape evil spirits, and make missing or unique items with a crafting machine. Sitting by a fire or listening to music can help maintain spiritual balance, while another dimension presents a survival challenge. Death means starting again. The story has several endings, and some elements may differ between playthroughs.
