Our take on Project Dagger
The run-based structure trades fixed progression for changing routes and encounters, while the Early Access format means the current experience may differ as planned additions such as seeded runs and bosses are developed.
What is Project Dagger?
Project Dagger is a retro first-person roguelike about returning the Crown of Benevolence to the King of Delvia.
Runs take place across randomly generated levels with changing environments, times of day, enemies, and routes. Combat includes more than 15 melee and ranged weapons, while progression offers 60 perks and 8 unlockable classes. Shrines, shopkeepers, portal skips, and other encounters appear during journeys. The game includes Normal and Hard difficulties, plus a one-shot mode where both the player and enemies have 1 health point. It is an Early Access title, with seeded runs, bosses, and additional content listed as planned features.
