Our take on Popcorn Fever
Its defining structure is a physics-based merge field where a rotating character positions each popcorn before release, making placement timing central to every combination.
What is Popcorn Fever?
Popcorn Fever is a suika-style game built around dropping and combining popcorns.
Match two identical symbols to create a larger one and earn points, using physics and positioning to set up merges. An active symbol can be exchanged with the next one, while chained combinations raise a temporary score multiplier. Nine powers charge through merges and can be equipped in pairs, including bombs, fireballs, raining kernels, and symbol upgrades. The game includes 11 popcorn symbols, character, bag, and wallpaper items, plus personal and global leaderboards covering daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time scores. A rotating character controls the placement of each falling symbol.
How Popcorn Fever plays
- 01Popcorn merging
- Combining matching symbols produces larger popcorns worth more points.
- 02Combo scoring
- Successive merges increase a multiplier until the chain is collected after a delayed merge.
- 03Power selection
- Nine powers charge from merges, and two can be equipped for a game.
- 04Symbol swapping
- The current popcorn can be exchanged with the upcoming one at any time.
- 05Score leaderboards
- Scores are tracked personally and globally across daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time boards.
- 06Visual customization
- Items can alter the character, popcorn bag, and play-area wallpaper.
