Our take on Pixel Sentry
Pixel Sentry replaces a longer campaign structure with brief wave runs that last about 100 seconds. After 10 rounds, the standard endpoint gives way to an infinite continuation, while crate effects add risk and variation within each run.
What is Pixel Sentry?
Pixel Sentry is a wave-based shooting game in which flying enemies move toward the player.
Each game contains 10 rounds and lasts about 100 seconds, depending on whether the game is sped up. Crates appear during and after rounds. Brown crates provide upgrades such as additional health, damage, or attack speed. Gold crates provide stronger upgrades that can combine with other power-ups. Red crates remove 2 health but may provide a strong power-up. After round 10, the game continues in an infinite loop until health runs out. Coins are awarded at the end of each game based on progress and can be used to buy new sentries. The game supports both quick runs and slower play.
